That's trash. Based on the rule of supply and demand if the demand is bigger
than supply the price is going to rise. Whenever there is a particular
shortage for a skillset the offered salary grow.
At least in US we see that in last 5 years the REAL wages actually goes down
and down. In this context to come forward and claim a shortage in workforce
it is rather ridiculous.
But some people/companies will always be ready to claim any trash if ordered
to do so.
