Hi,
While I disagree with Hummel that "privatizing Social Security" is bad idea,
I agree with him that it has nothing to do with your idea for the "national
debt". The issues are unrelated and not analogous.
And "privatizing Social Security" is a mis-nomer. The question is how the
retirement of Americans should be funded in the future. And the choices are
A-"by a wage tax on US workers", or B-"by the growrth of the Global
economy".
And since the answer is and will continue to be "Both of the Above", Dubwa
and I are really saying: give those with lower incomes (those who pay mostly
FICA rather than the IRS) the same sort of tax break that the IRS gives
through IRA's and 401K's.
