These are minor quibbles at the fringe, however. In the main, we agree:
real investment is the combination of labor and other resources we devote

increasing our future production, and not the cash we spend to buy shares

???? Given my choice to spend 10% of my income
A-eating out more often,
B-buying additional clothes, or
C-putting it into a mutual fund composed of stocks, bonds and bank CD's,

which of these choices do you think does the most to "increasing our future
production"?

I mean if C is just cash spent "buying shares from each other", maybe the
correct answer is A or B?
