Menial labor is something that everyone ought to do at sometime in their
lives. It builds character.

I agree, but it sure as hell shall not be nospam and his ilk who wants
to rob those who don't do physical labor, to tell me or others what to
do with out lives.

Ultimately those who have the talent for the
abstract should benefit from that talent. People who invent things
rather than dig ditches or lay asphalt benefit more people.

I do not regret a single day that I spent digging ditches and laying
bricks. I am also glad I was able to do other things that got me more
money. Everyone should know how to take orders and give orders. Everyone
should be a private at some time in their lives and a captain at other
times.
