Kid, you can not be more wrong than that. Holding a science degree in
robotics I am a strong advocate for replacement of the physical labor with
robots. Wherever this is possible. I become politically active against
extreme right wingers after a discution about the society of the future
into a world where widespread autonomous robots (about 15...20 yr. from now
as an estimation for autonomous robotics becoming mainstream) are able to
replace most of today's physical work.
From roomservice to cleaning crew, from gatekeepers to machine operators,
and mainly everything in agriculture it is going to be replaced.

All the economic theories from the pre-classics to austrian school and
neoclassical economists assume the scarcity of workforce compared with the
desire for workforce. Well, we are already started to see that this is no
longer true in today's times and in the future this will just be a false
statement. However, most of today's economic theories and mainly the
libertarian mythologies are strongly based on this concept of workforce
scarcity.

How is the society going to addapt? Well, look at globalization.
This is a small test preparing us for the future and we fail it as we speak.
The unsustainable trade deficit is not going to go away unless either:

- we strongly reform our economy on brand new bases (which imply strong gov.
financed high education and research labs and even involvement in economy)

- we collapse, and become a third world country with workforce comparable
with Asian workforce. This will delay the outcome for another 10 to 15
years when all the cheap jobs are going to be done cheaper by the robots.

The only sustainable solution for the future will be strong regulation to
prevent large corporations to take advantage of an growingly cheaper
workforce by running all wages under poverty levels.

Essentially the same thing Marx said, and that didn't come true.


Here is where the stupid libertarian ideology is going to fail human kind
and either bring back the feudalism either force a communist revolution.
Which is going to be the same bad outcome.

Red herring. I don't care how well you are educated, or what your
visions for the future of humankind are, you are not going to control MY
life and MY pocketbook.
