but the organization above appears to be a
front for the healthcare industry, disguised as a "grass-roots"
campaign to improve medical care for the working poor. The
health care industry supports it because they not only will get
more patients, but also because insurance has grossly distorted
the healthcare market because doctors no longer have to worry
that their price may be too high for the market to bear (because
insurance will pay, the patient no longer has to make choices
based on what he can afford).

The all idea of shopping around for health care is fundamentally flawed.
DO NOT believe the propaganda. You can go to shop around for a nice dress or
for a sexy gift for your girl friend for her birthday next month.

But when you have 107 F fever, nausea, vomiting and shake from all your body
don't tell me you are going to drive around into the car to check with 150
doctors in 100 milles radius to shop for the smaller cost. You are going to
go to the first doctor and beg him to save you. This is exactly what you
are going to do !!!

The whole concept of dropping the health insurance for shopping around it is
just a missleading propaganda from some radical right wingers. If you will
tommorrow drop the health insurance more than half of the US population
insured today will NOT be able to see a doctor. Over 50% of the doctors
will look around for some more productive jobs.

Just look what is going on in IT field especially and in science and
engineering as a whole. Students are running away by them. It is a too much
hassle, stress and a waste of time and money to learn 4..6..10 years to get
a BS/MS/PhD just to see an idiot of salesman making 10 times your salary
and telling you that you are to pricey compared with a guy from India or
China. They won't pursue a career in these fields. As a result US
engineering and science it is set to collapse and US it is going to become
a third world country. That is almost unavoidable now, thanksfully to
republican party (aka corporate sock puppets).

The same thing it is going to happen to doctors if you implement your plan.
In 20 years, the Medics without borders will be the only care providers into
US. As it is today in Somalia.

The only real solution to US health care problem is to implement an
universal health care system. Not just we eliminate the huge waste of money
from the useless and criminals private insurers, but the gov. can controll
the expenses for the health care much better than the market. It is working
in every advanced country in the world. The average Englishman pay 2.5
times less than the average American and they are much much healthier than
us despite the fact they smoke and drink much more.

All the propaganda you hear from libertarians and neoconservative about free
market bla bla bla it is just that: Trash propaganda. Look around you and
see: Where in the world a pure market system work in health care better
than the universal system in Western Europe ?
You are going to find .... none !!!
