Well, he does have a point. Personally, I'd prefer a more humane
solution, like maybe helping Mexico build up its economy (it's a freakin'
oil exporter; why do we have such a problem with illegals??) so that its
average GDP/cap gets 2x-3x of our minimum wage instead of *below* our
minimum wage, as it is now -- even at the lowball value the minimum wage
floats (sinks?) at now.

But sowing mines, building electrified fences, monitoring surveillance
cameras, patrolling, and cleaning up after one of the mines, fences, or
patrollers kills an immigrant will be the equivalent of the CCC in the
1930's... :-) (Not that I really expect this to work.)
