Hello all.
I just completed a Master of Arts from a state university. I don't
really want to say which one, but it is the central university of a US
state. Thing is, I thought it was going to be "in Economics."
Certainly, the majority of the courses were Economics, and I took a
comprehensive exam in Economics, and I could teach undergraduate
Economics.
But the transcripts and other documents just say "Master of Arts." I
asked the school and they said "thats how we do it." Is this normal?
Can I reasonably claim to have a Master of Arts in Economics? I
learned a lot from this program, but I need the credential.
Thanks,
Craig
You seriously actually made it through a complete Masters (of anything)
program and did not know (a) the answer to your question AND
(b) the credential they'd actually be granting you?
Are? You? F*cking? Kidding? Me?
I may be "old school", but I at least could tell you -- long before
graduation, what the old sheepskin would be saying about my
academic achievement.
What university did you say that was? I'm gonna steer clear of
that one for a long time.
