It would seem you haven't actually
read the article. If you've read it,
then it is you who is the liar.
No, in fact we have already seen many proofs that you are a habitual
and pathological liar. You have either not read the article, have not
understood it, or are lying about it. On form, the latter is most
likely.
Please either provide a direct, verbatim, in-context quote from the
article to support your claim that Buckley presents a theory that
zoning is the only cause of high home prices (which would be odd,
considering that home prices have also risen spectacularly in places
that have no zoning), or admit that you are lying filth.
"Land is scarce because it is in fixed
supply and _people_ want to use it."

But it's not in fixed supply.
Ah, the proof that you are a liar is again renewed.
The physical dimensions of a plot are only
one factor determining its utility,
which is continually increasing and
improving with discovery and
development.
Because you are a habitual, pathological liar, you are now claiming
that a man who is dying of thirst has a greater supply of water than a
man who is drowning in it, because water has more utility to him.
It would be interesting to know if there are any words in the English
language capable of expressing how stupid, evil, and dishonest you
are. Somehow, I doubt it.
"However, you refuse to know all such
facts, because you are simply stupid,
dishonest, evil, lying filth."
--------------------------------------
And you are certainly not the
sharpest pencil in the box.
<yawn> Call a licensed psychologist in a city midway between your
home and mine. Ask him to administer a high-ceiling IQ test to both
of us simultaneously, without telling either of us in advance which
test he will use. After he has scored the tests, the low scorer will
then give the high scorer $1000 for each point of difference in the
scores.
Oh, and bring a certified check for $30,000. You are going to need
it.
