Re: Are the Filthy Rich Necessary?

That there are no book written or movies made of an event that
includes -
according to you - millions of slaves who became slave owners.....

Doesn't that say more about your self-created "fact" than the reality of
history?

Evidence, Paul. Where's the evidence for your claim that an absence
of books or movies about an event makes it not have happened?

I didn't claim that because there are no movies or books about a
historical
situation, that it didn't happen.

Yes, of course you did. That is exactly what you said. Look up about
10 lines. Yep. There it is.

Nope. It's not there. And you can continue to pretend all you like, but
your continuing claims are making you look like the buffoon that you are.

I asked what it says about a claimed fact, when there has been no books or
movies about it. You then, are free to decide the importance and
connectivity of a supposed historical happening and the lack of evidence
about it.

Then why did you claim slaves owning slaves couldn't have happened
because there are no movies or books about it (a claim you have not
supported, and may or may not be true)?

I'm asking that, if there were millions (your claim) out of the 4 million US
slaves during that era, that someone - somewhere - at some point in time -
would have written something about them.

But really, there were somewhere in the neighborhood of 4 million slaves
in
the US. Out of all the books and movies made, and out of all the
programing
on the history channel, you think there'd be one story of the millions
that
opted to - of all things - become slave owners themselves.

Maybe there is. I certainly don't know every book and movie that
might have presented such events. Do you?

Maybe there is, maybe there isn't. Hollywood has made movies about all
manner of things, both historical and fictional, yet there are no books or
movies about slaves becomeone clave owners. Not one.

You have made the positive claim, here: that there are none.

Yup.

But here is your evidence for that claim?

Here: Let me list all the books and movies about slaves that become slave
owners.

Whew!

I know that's an exhaustive listing, but that's all of them I could find.
