Learning Economics

I am interested in business and economics. I have a MBA (Finance)
from Rollins College, USA. Should I get a Phd in Business or
Economics? I have a GMAT of 640. What kind of business schools will
be willing to take me in with full aid in USA?
I am very interested in globalization and free trade. I have read
some books on the subject. Can you reccomend any good books on the
subject?
