Hi
I think the scope would be protected against ESD and that 250V are for
constant voltage and not a nSec spike.
A scope with 1Ghz BW will allow you to capture a nSec spike.
Use "Normal" mode at signal Negedge with threshold set to 1.5V.
How do you intend to produce the spike ?
Do you have the ESD "gun" ?
