Hazzards are momentary glitches that can appear at the output of a
sequential logic machine. They are caused by the ripple of data
propegating through the combinational logic.
I have heard the term dynamic and static hazzards, but I couldn't tell
you what the difference is. The answer is in my old switching and
logic book that is at home.
