Sorry if I double posted. I am not sure the first post got through.

Can I run this pump on 60 hz with/without a converter. If I need a converter, would you know about how much one would cost and where I could get one?

I would appreciate your help.

It will run 6/5 of normal speed, and the capacitor may not be quite optimal, but it will almost certainly work for a while.

The big problem with motors is normally running 60 Hz motors on 50 Hz, because they draw more current at lower frequency.

The pitfall running a 50 Hz motor on 60 Hz usually involves them being loaded with centrifugal pumps, that require more torque at higher speed, while the motor torque drops when you raise the frequency, without raising the voltage.

But this pump should not require a higher torque in proportion to the higher speed.
