How is the remote's infrared light changed (modulated?) into visible light?
It isn't. The camera picks it up and treats it as normal light, converting it into an electrical signal which, like those from
visible light, is viewable on the screen. However, as another poster mentions, this may not be a definitive test. The best way to
be sure is to contact the camera manufacturer.
