Theory: open/shor-circuit time-constant method...

Hi! I'm studying the open and short-circuit time-constant method and I've a
little problem.
When I have a capacitive loop (or a loop with only capacitors and controlled
voltage source), since loop voltage should be 0, one capacitor is not
indipendent, so it dosn't produce a pole (so from loop of 4 capacitors i get
3 poles).
The problem is: how I deal with this in the circuit? When I study a circuit
with a capacitive loop, what change I have to do to get the correct result
(I change the loop? I should transofrm the circuit? I have a different
equation?);
the usual a1 = SUM( Ci*Ri(O) ), for the high frequency analysis, and b1 =
SUM( 1/Ci*Ri(S) ), for low frequency, don't work.
Somene can help me out?
