Hi,modifying
I'm a total beginner in electronic and I'd need an advice on
a circuit that I found on the web.http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/Bill_Bowden/page6.htm#eyes8.gif
The circuit can be found at
and is designed to slowly lighten a 60watts regular light to full
brightness over a 20 minutes period (use that instead of an alarm
clock and apparently you wake up fresh...).
The problem is that I would like to use a 15 watts (or maybe 7 watts)
bulb since 60 watts is to bright. I think it will have an impact on
the circuit (will it?) but don't know how to calculate (I probably
need to change some resistors, but which).
Thank you
The components you need to play around with are the 270K resistor and
the 3300uF capacitor on pin 9 of the 324. Start by reducing the cap to
say 1000uF and the resistor to 100K and see how it goes.
