ngspice core dump: tcap_init()

Hi,
My ngspice (rework-15) core dumped. gdb shows in cpitf.c, function call
tcap_init() causes the coredump.
When I comment //tcap_init() out, ngspice runs fine.
Anybody has any suggestions?
I use gcc 2.95.3
