tracking changes & bom control

    Hi

    We have used ORCAD for many years, but the company is growing and it's
    time to take more control of BOM generation. The obvious choice (from
    where we are) is to upgrade to ORCAD CIS but I have been told to look
    further afield.

    We would like to

    1) Create really detailed BOMs, with control over different build
    options.

    2) Track the changes between BOMs of different builds and pcb revision

    3) Track connectivity changes between issues of PCB.

    ORCAD CIS will only do 1) so any suggestions appreciated.
