Re: Is substrate thickness specified in the Gerber file?

My software (Eagle from Cadsoft)
lets me specify substrate thickness in the design rules.
However, I can't find any trace of the this info
in the produced Gerber files.
Is substrate thickness supposed to be in the gerbers,
or supplied separately?

FYI, Google Groups has made their Reply frame ~15% too wide.
They let you continue to type on a line all the way over,
but when they post it, they break that line
by inserting a carriage return after ~72 characters.
Your submission may thus look choppier than you expected.
