that you didn't want any further LTspice recommendations :-)

Transient analysis seems to work fine. That is the important one to me. I
now have enough information to prototype a little 5 watt class A audio
amplifier. It only has a quiescent power dissipation of 45 watts. and peak
of 90 watts.
