There's no reason for a laptop screen to be vga compatible, so there probably aren't any. You can buy PC cards to drive laptop screens.
You can buy converters from VGA to drive a laptop screen.
But either of those solutions is likely to cost way more than just buying a LCD VGA monitor. I can get you the name of an extremely compact one if you like. It's about the size of a LCD screen sitting
on a foldup stand. Analog vga input.
