Is it by any chance from a 647 / 647a scope? If so, can you retrieve the HV transformer too?
I'd be very much helped by that.

Re: hot scope leads? ... have a special attachment to allow it, usually a signal transformer.... rent a power analyzer when we want to see the AC. ...
