looking for
the MSM5268 and not the MSM5260. And that I did try Oki semi,
including their obsolete components section before posting
here. And
that I am pretty sure the (MS)M5268 is a rom and not an LCD
driver (as
it is the main component (together with two capacitors) of a
so-called
"rom pack"). And that they certainly do not have the same
number of
pins. BTW,


oh well, is it possible it was special order item ? not available
for general public perusing ?
there was a m5267 also but it was a driver chip as well just
smaller
how many pins does the chip have ?
