Actually, they don't bother doing that during the In-processing procedure. They
do that during Basic Training. In-processing is just to get the paperwork done,
all the I's dotted and the T's crossed and all the proper blocks checked off.
Nobody involved in that process even cares about tearing down or rebuilding
people.
BTW, anybody who feels humiliated by having to drop their trousers in front of a
doctor seems to have some issues of their own. I was 17 when I joined the Army
and had never even been to a female doctor in my life. When I went to the MEPS
station to in-process, I had to stand naked in front of a female doctor and turn
my head and cough. I managed to do it.

It's also hard to humiliate people who've already learned that their self-esteem
is THEIR responsibility. ;)
