I can't remember any particular incompatibilities.
The 7904 screen is smaller and fuzzier and you need all the screen you
can get. If you let it sit running, you'll eventually burn the screen.

If you're gonna buy a 7D02, make sure you get all the pods you'll ever
need with it. And I can't think of a single good use for a 7D02 today.
If you have the PM101 and 10MHz is fast enough, you can do some pretty
nice triggering with it. The GPIB ROM has a few interesting
possibilities. As a Microprocessor Analyzer, it's way beyond
obsolete.
