Arizona has the highest car theft rate in the US... most disappearing
right across the border into Mexico, although some go to "chop shops".
My hero is a local grocery chain owner, Eddie Basha.
Some one stole his big GMC and drove it into Mexico.
Eddie found out that the local police were driving it in Nogales, and
they refused to give it back.
So Eddie walked into Mexico and stole it back.
At the border crossing he produced his title and scurried on home ;-)
