Make up your minds - either we are pacificist, or we are going to use
our massively destructive thumbs to squish you. You can't have it both
ways.

What turns you on may not appeal to the rest of us.

So you are in favour of Dubbya's crew's approach to the Geneva
Convention, and positively impressed by the way that all the useful
information that it has reaped has been used locate Osama bin Laden
and neutralised the armed opposition in Irak.
About the nearest thing to constructive criticism of your Irak policy
I can come up with is the suggestion that you give the country back to
Saddam and his surviving relatives - for all their numerous faults,
they seem to have been more effective at maintaining law and order
than your lot, and killed fewer people in the process.
A international peace-keeping force of some several hundred thousand
troops would probably do a better job - and kill even fewer people -
but Dubbya's crew haven't exactly gone out of their way to encourage
international involvement, and their chances of getting that sort of
help - if they ever developed enough sense to ask for it - can't be
said to be high.
