Hi Tim,
Yes, you are very correct. The cost of an engineer is much higher. I
just did not want to cause a heart attack ;-).
The Atmel kit was only a point of discussion, I have used it a few
times so I could help Kim get started.

PS: Yes ~$350 sounds like a very fair price for this project. But I am
sure Kim will want to do it himself.
