The document I referenced is fairly new and is from IBM and refers to 10
bit bytes that take on more than 256 values. Bradly1234 was refering to
"accepted in the industry" as his test for the true meaning. IBM is big
enough that they are a big enough portion of the industry to qualify with
this as disproof of his position. No further disproof is needed IMHO.
