I thought the UN sanctioned the state of Israel, since you're so fond
of the UN.

I suppose so. They think tossing old men in wheelchairs into the sea,
or killing Olympic teams, or blowing up school busses is patriotic,

No; both sides should stop killing. The Israelis can, because they are
an organized, disciplined democracy. The Palestinians can'r, because
they are a collection of more-or-less insane factions. Arafat arranged
that. Hell, he sold the Israelis the concrete to build their wall.
