Depends what you mean by 'RF'. The majority of opamps operate only up
to a few MHz. Some are designed to operate faster, but they are the
exception at present. There are, of course, many high quality
monolithic RF amps, but in answer to your question, there are two
reasons:
1. A typical Opamp doesn't have the bandwidth, nor at any frequency
