There was more than offers. Within 48 hours of 9/11 military personnel from several
European nations, and Canada, were actively patrolling U.S. airspace. Most U.S. TV
networks covered this in their news broadcasts and some even did special programs -
I saw at least two news specials on U.S. Networks on the subject.
