I use PnP Blue because I haven't found anything better.

Now, what are you doing etching your own boards if time is so precious?
I would think that a retired big-time Silicon Valley innovator such as yourself
could afford to send your gerbers out to a fast-turn board house. Or are you
requiring platinum clad saphire substrates now? 8-) <-- obligatory grin
