Anti-aircraft guns were not the weapon of choice against V1
My father was a radar technician with REME 1943/45. He told us about the early warning system that they developed. A few minutes before the 'blip' of a V1 appeared on the screen, they could see a scatter or shower of noise on the screen. It took a while to work this out- the radar station was above the Essex marshes, and one of the technicians spent his off-duty hours bird watching. Suddenly, all the birds on the marsh took off, and a few minutes later, a V1 appeared and the AA opened up- the birds apparently could hear the missile before it appeared on the screen, and got out of the way before all hell let loose.
My father was asked by my younger brother about what he did in the war. He explained about the radar, saying "We plotted the course of the incoming V1s, then phoned the information to the RAF or the AA batteries- we had no fire ourselves." Rick looked puzzled for a few moments, then asked, "Dad, what's a fire-arse elf?"
