I used up almost everything in the freeze a day before I had to leave
for the hurricane shelter, and gave the last couple items to someone who
had a generator. That left me a few weeks of non perishables for after
I got out of the shelter. The county supplied food, mostly from the
high school's stockpile so it would be used, rather than spoil.
