Don't you believe it!

The BBC's 'opinion' is under the strict control of the British
Government. Which means at present it is pro-American, anti-Russian,
anti-Chinese, and neutral Indian. It is achieved by appropriate
appointment of senior and lower-order staff.

Was not the Director General (or whatever he is called), together with
a news-commentator, immediately sacked following the apparent suicide
of the British "Weapons of Mass-destruction" inspector.

The BBC no longer owns any radio transmitters. Lady Margarette quietly
sold them off.

The new owners no longer beam BBC radio transmissions to the USA.
Programs are now receivable via the Internet and can be more easily
monitored and controlled.

>From its own programs, clearly under goverment direction, the BBC is
trying as hard as possible to shove itself on to the Internet. Just
listen to Radio-4 and the Overseas Service.
