As a well-educated eloquent native English speaker living in Europe,
you're missing out on a big opportunity, Bill. Just take all the stuff
that is wrong in Europe (open up any newspaper in the Netherlands,
right?) and write about it for a foreign audience. Big market for that
sort of stuff. Talk about how things are collapsing. Explain why
(because they stupid, naive, corrupt, cynical, spoiled, socialist and
are doing things wrong, of course). Keep it simple. The more
negativity the better- you're after schadenfreude, just don't make
specific predictions that can come back and bite you. I bet you could
get 10-15 years of solid income out of such a gig. Call it "Letter
from Europe" or something like that. You might even find that some of
it is true.
