What a charming picture of patriotism and nobility. Except that the
insurgents are mostly Islamic fundamentalists who hate all infidels,
Sunis who hate Shiites, Shiites who hate Sunis, Baathists who miss
being in absolute power, and foreign recruits who want to shread
civilians in markets and mosques with nail bombs in return for a pass
to heaven.

Foreigners defending their homeland?

Culture = fundamentalist rule?

Religion = kill Shiites because we're Suni?

Freedom?
