On the other hand, I'd have to say that of all the <$100 wireless routers I've ever owned or used, more than half would crash and hang or reboot when subjected to network torture tests. :-(
I've got a BT voyager with embedded linux. I decided to poke around the thing *properly* a few months ago and did an nmap scan on it (nmap -v -v -sV -O 192.168.1.2). The whole thing hung and refused to reboot - had to yank out the plug :S. All services went down and nothing got through it to the internet yet all LAN functions worked. I don't think home routers are optimized for heavy network traffic!
