Because those "addictive" drugs are legal, and there isn't a multi-
billion dollar industry making war on them.
Notwithstanding, the addiction isn't in the substance - it's in the
addict. I know this first-hand - I'm "addicted" to everything I've
ever done that I liked: I want to do it again. QED. :-)
