Yes, but the alternative, Linux, stinks even more. Typical Linux
distributions come with more CD's than windows. Linux bloatware.

The extensions not matching headers is nothing to be worried
about. In the old days, where you had uncompressed bitmaps and
simple compressed gifs, life was easy. *.BMP and *.GIF and that
was that. Now we have so many different graphical file formats,
that it is a neccesity to store many different formats under one
extension. Same with movie files. Under *.AVI you will find many
different formats.

JL talks from his arse. He thinks he knows enough about software
to be able to make a judgement. He can barely control a 1x16
character display on his outdated 68000 stuff.

Linux is going to take over the world, is the repeating message
we hear for years and years now. The internet was going to melt
yesterday. Yeah, sure.
