What astonishes me is that ppl would actually view porn in public view.

These are not your ordinary "people" and nothing astonishes anybody over here. There was a recent incident locally where an individual was caught performing a self-sexual act at the library computer. They do make arrests in that case- not considered an inherent Constitutional right just yet.

Talk about repressing his "self-expression"!

Best regards, Spehro Pefhany

It was a dumb 19yo male- his name, address, and picture was plastered all over the newspaper. Maybe he was emulating Peanuts or Peabrain or whomever...

Peabrain lost his career. If this d*rk had an agent or high-profile
lawyer and was reasonably presentable & entertaining he could probably
*create* a show-biz career from this arrest.

Here's Aussie self-expression being threatened: http://www.abc.net.au/news/newsitems/200602/s1574071.htm

Is waving, or even owning, a Nazi flag "self expression" in France or
Germany?

One can write or speak a single 4-word sentence [1] in Germany, one
that threatens nobody, and be imprisoned.

John

[1] well, it would be four words in English. It might well be one
63-letter word in German.

I presume you mean "there was no holocaust" or words to that effect.

HD david irving just got himself arrested for having said that in Austria in 1989.
