there would still be proprietary information involved depending upon
manufacturer so the variations and additives will be many.

The simplest formula for rosin flux I have located is;

1 oz powdered rosin (pine resin) in 4 oz denatured alcohol and leave
stand overnight.

Since that is *pine* resin, i think the proper term is *leaf* stand overnight...
.
