Almost always toilet paper too, which is often *not* the case in
third-world public toilets. If not, at last they had free napkins.
Still find squat toilets a bit of a challenge ( esp
in France, ugh. Asia was lots better)

Never ran into anything in France as bad as some of the worst in Asia
(kind of liked the big public 'pissoirs' and the automated
self-cleaning street toilets in France), but I think Eastern European
trains (Kosovo etc.) had the worst I've ever seen. I don't have a
problem with squat toilets, at least you don't have to touch anything
filthy. Funny how backpackers and budget travellers in general always
find toilets and intestinal issues a good subject for discussion.
