Just thinking of Bill Sloman

There are no jobs that match my profile ....
** Short of replacing ex Chief Engineer "Scotty" on the USS Enterprise,
that is.
You know, somehow: " Beam me up Sloman " lacks the same kind of magical
ring.
Nevertheless, Bill might be well advised to write " I canna' change the
laws of physics! " on his next job application.
Just so his aging phasors don't get overtaxed ......
Phil hasn't been paying attention. Philips did have a fantastic job for
me last year - on a phased array ultrasound project they were
contemplatiing.
The fantasy element lay in the starting date of the project, which
turned out to be imaginary. My complex number theory is too rusty to
let me rotate it onto the real axis.
I haven't entirely abandoned the hope that Philips might yet come up
with a job that did match my profile, but it didn't happen this week.
