What if there are other people in it? Employees? (Do you believe in
workplace safety regulations?) Children?

What about choice? You can refuse to patronize a place that allows
smoking.

Why should I limit the public places I go when it's the smokers who are
polluting the air and creating a health and fire hazard for
everyone,customers and employees?
We're eliminating the problem, not compensating for it.

I'm not a smoker, but I find it as offensive as smoke for
the government to tell a business how it does business. I find it
particularly abhorent for government to tell private clubs what they
can or cannot do.

Private clubs should be left alone.
TRULY private clubs, not those open to the public.

As I've said, repeatedly, I have no problem with people who don't
like smoke, or who don't like smoking

On the contrary, you've been saying the exact opposite of that,
repeatedly.

He has, but understand the other side. Does your right to not smoke
trump the idiot Rich's right to?

The right to breathe clean air does trump his right to smoke.
