What would that prove? Not that cigarettes are harmless, only that they are
smaller than cars, which we knew already.
It would simply show that cars are deadly for everyone, and cigarettes
aren't.
So we could drop cigarettes on the heads of one group of rats, and
anvils on the other, and prove than anvils are more dangerous than
cigarettes.
