When first visiting many but not all NGs, nothing comes over the modem
and the computer waits "forever" for the highlighted message to appear.
If i try various messages, that problem continues, until i get an Alert
saying "A news (NNTP) error occurred. Too Many Connections {Dialup-Level3
allows 4 per host/0 per feed (0==nolimit)] (Tornado v1.0.5.360"
What the hell do i do to fix this crap?

I've been having the same problem, on Earthlink, for several days. I haven't
called them, yet.

Bob

Ahh..i think you hit the right nail.
BTW, *this* time all was OK when i re-tried SED, but was AFU when i
posted the query.

It means too many ppl are using the news server btw. Hence too many connections.

Graham

Probably some piece of malware on his computer is already using a few
connections to the NNTP server. ;-)
