So, I'm sitting here, annoying USENETizens as usual, and the PHB pokes his
head into my office, and asks, "You know, the word, 'weather', like, the

the word 'whether', like 'whether or not', that's not the same, right?"
I said, yes, they're completely different words, and spelled 'whether'
for him, and he left happy.
Sometimes just knowing how to spell stuff can be useful. ;-) (made _me_
feel pretty good, anyway! :-) )
(although, the day he asked "What's a 'neoconservative'?" and I said, "A
nazi in a republican suit", he didn't seem to like that very much.)
Cheers!

Doesn't it make you wonder, though, how a PHB can be so clueless, yet
earn more than a typical engineer...?
